MarBu began as a family story rooted in care, curiosity, and connection.

The name MarBu honors two important people in our family — my mother-in-law, Martine, and my late father-in-law, Orville, affectionately known as “Bub.” When Martine shared castor oil with me years ago, it sparked my curiosity about simple, traditional ingredients and the role they can play in personal care rituals.

That curiosity led me to explore castor oil more deeply and to experiment thoughtfully with essential oils, discovering how scent, texture, and intention can transform everyday moments into grounding rituals. What began as small experiments shared with friends and family eventually grew into MarBu Oil.

Today, MarBu Oil offers small-batch, thoughtfully crafted castor and essential oil combinations designed to support moments of pause, presence, and self-connection. Each product is made with care and simplicity in mind, honoring the people and stories that inspired its creation.
